Articles of Faith

  1. We Believe that there is one true and living God, eternally existent, creator, sustainer, upholder, and governor of all, who in these days has manifested His deity both in the person and ministry of Yeshua the Messiah and through the ministry and indwelling of His Ruach Hakodesh (the Holy Spirit).

  1. We Believe that the Scriptures-consisting of the entire Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures) and the entire B'rit Chadasha (New Covenant Scriptures)-are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in their original manuscripts, and provide us with the only infallible, authoritative, and final rule of faith and practice.

  1. We Believe that Yeshua of Natzeret (Nazareth) is the Messiah of Israel; that He is God's only begotten Son, that He is the fullness of God dwelling in flesh, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, and continual intercession on our behalf. We believe in His future and imminent return to Jerusalem where He will visibly rule and reign over all the earth, exactly as prophesied in Scripture.

  1. We Believe in the Ruach haKodesh (Holy Spirit), sent forth from the Father to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Messiah. We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Messiah and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher, and Guide. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the orderly exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Spirit. We believe that Yeshua immerses believers with the Holy Spirit, empowering us for His service.

  1. We Believe that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory and are in need of God's forgiveness. We believe that, by His Holy Spirit, God enables us--who confess Yeshua as Messiah and Lord, trust in His redemptive sacrifice, repent of our sins, and receive forgiveness--to walk in His righteousness.

Divider2

  1. We Believe that justification and salvation are based only on our repentance (a commitment to turn from sin to obedience) and trust in the provision of Yeshua for our righteousness.

Divider2

  1. We Believe in the unity and equality of all Messianic believers, both Jewish and non-Jewish, joined and knit together as one body in service to God, with Yeshua the Messiah of Israel as Head over all who trust in Him.

Divider2

  1. We believe that Yeshua committed His Messianic Community to being faithful to His commandments and teachings, which provide us a correct interpretation and application of the Torah given to Moshe on Mt. Sinai and of the Hebrew Scriptures as a whole.

Divider2

  1. We believe in the Biblical practices of full immersion in the waters of the Mikvah. In accordance with the B'rit Chadashah, we hold immersion to be an outward sign of the new believers' faith in Yeshua, representing entrance into new life in Messiah.

Divider2

  1. We believe in the continuity of God's covenants with the Jewish people, the physical people of Israel, according to the promises made to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, and according to the word specified in Jeremiah 31. We believe that we are presently witnessing the gradual fulfillment of these covenants in the return of the Jewish people to the land of promise, the restoration of God's Spirit on His people, and the restoration of Eretz Israel.

Divider2

  1. We believe in the laying on of hands for the ordination (s'michah) of Messianic Rabbis, Pastors, Elders, and others in leadership, for the sending forth into ministry, for the receiving of spiritual empowerment, and for healing.

Divider2

  1. We believe in the literal, visible, return of Yeshua the Messiah to Jerusalem, where He will fully establish His Kingdom rule and reign over Israel and over all the nations of the earth, thereby fulfilling the eternal Davidic Covenant.

Divider2

  1. We believe in the resurrection of the body and the final judgment, where the unrighteous will awake to shame and everlasting contempt and the righteous to eternal life.
